Entertainment-related activities for APC are developed and managed by our VP Entertainment, Mr. Larry J. Mayson. Larry's been integrally involved in the Canadian music scene for several decades now, having been in charge of A&R for Polygram Records for many years and responsible for the discovery, first North American record deals and recurring tour coordination for acts such as Dire Straits, John Mellencamp, Air Supply, Def Leppard, and Loreena Mckennit. Other tour-only credits include acts as varied as Bruce Springstein, Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bob Marley, J.J. Cale and Corinne Bailey Rae.
Today, APC's entertainment activities are restricted primarily to providing management consulting for international talent seeking to break into the U.S. and Canadian markets. These services include arranging deals with appropriate North American labels, organizing festival and tour performaces and other showcases with established promoters and events, marketing coordination, merchandising oversight and track selection/remix advice for breakout record releases.
